Proclaiming the Word of God as revealed in the Scriptures is a primary task of the Church. The Scriptures call our attention to God’s love for his people and the salvation, which is ours through Jesus Christ, His Son. The Ministry of Reader invites Roman Catholics age 14 and above to proclaim God’s Word to the assembly. This ministry calls for individuals who have the ability to clearly articulate and proclaim the sacred Word of the Scriptures. Training sessions are provided.
